Omniis designs, develops and maintains software exclusively for the shared office space sector which includes serviced offices, innovation centres, incubators and science parks. The shared office space sector leverages resources such as space, heat, light, Internet connectivity and telephony, etc across as many tenants as possible whilst ensuring security, continuity of supply and accurate and timely billing. OmniGuard

Omniis' state-of-the-art firewall, OmniGuard, is designed exclusively for the shared office space sector. In addition to shared office space specific functionality that is already popular like offering tenants their own private network or controlling the amount of Internet bandwidth they may use, OmniGuard offers clients a range of new and exciting revenue generating functionality. Examples of these include:

  • Visitor tokens which not only give business visitors access to the network but ensure that visitors use their host's bandwidth and are therefore not a burden to other tenants.
  • The ability to not only provide network access to meeting rooms on a meeting room booking basis but also provide access to tenants office networks from the meeting room.
  • Not only can clients create various price plans for Internet access but tenants can self-select the most appropriate price plan for themselves and automatically activate their new plan so that they benefit from their new bandwidth immediately and without consuming management time.

babblevoice

Omniis have developed a state-of-the-art phone system specifically for the shared office space sector. There are two core principles which differentiate babblevoice from traditional phone systems; Firstly, the system is not tied to a physical location which means that a) tenants and virtual tenants can use the system from the office, from home or from their client's office and b) the tenants can continue to use the system in their next premises which means that you benefit from call revenue commission in perpetuity.

Secondly, the system is designed to be lots of small, highly customisable phone systems, not one large "like it or lump it" behemoth. This means that when a tenant makes a request you can always say yes.

Babblevoice offers all known telephony functions such as conference calls, voice mail, call groups etc very well but it also implements a range of new and exciting features designed to improve user's office productivity and revenue streams.

  • The system can be configured in natural English. Instead of entering a bewildering sequence of numbers and characters to simply divert calls to voicemail, babblevoice users simply say "ring my extension for 30 seconds and if I don't answer, send the call to voicemail".
  • Users can ask babblevoice to make decisions about calls based on calendar events. For example, if Bob is in a meeting from 2 till 4, babblevoice send callers in that period to voice mail, otherwise Bob's extension will ring.
  • Users can quickly and easily create a teleconference room and distribute details to participants. Conferences can be recorded and the call can even be transcribed into a Word document.
  • Tenants can rent phone numbers from any geographic region. If a presence is required in Aberdeen, Birmingham and Croydon phone numbers with the relevant prefix can be used.
