What’s in it for me?

Understanding longer durations is now much easier at a glance.

Until now, all time-based stats were displayed in seconds. While this worked well for shorter measurements, larger values could be difficult to interpret quickly. For example, a queue wait time of 4,827 seconds is harder to understand than 80 minutes.

Based on feedback from surgery teams, we've added a new Time Units option that lets you choose the most meaningful display format for your data.

How do I get it?

This feature is available now for all babblevoice users.

A new "Time Units" setting has been added to the stats widget allowing you to switch between "Seconds" and "Minutes". Your selected unit is applied consistently across the widget, including:

  • Chart values
  • Axis labels
  • Summary statistics

The setting is configured on a per-widget basis, so you can display different time units in different widgets on the same board if required.

The option is only shown for time-based stats where the selected chart type supports it.

To access this feature:

  • Open the Vibes board containing the stats widget you want to update.
  • Open the widget's configuration panel.
  • Locate the "Time Units" setting.
  • Select either "Seconds" or "Minutes".
  • Save your changes.

Your widget will immediately display all time-based values using the selected unit.
