In life there are some circumstances that fall outside of your, and our, control. These can include disruption to your power supply and failure of the internet connection. We advise all our customers that they prepare in advance for these.
The following are a list of suggestions that we recommend you look through to see which would be the most appropriate for you:
- Failover options in babblevoice - this can include a simple vibes switch which implements a disaster plan of your own choosing i.e. go to voicemail, forward calls to mobiles. Further details on how to set up a switch can be viewed here.
- Backup internet connection (with a different provider).
- Phones located at other locations (i.e. home workers).
- Having a 4G router that will swap to 4G if your broadband goes down. Please read our 4G router doc for more details.
Of course, if you would like to discuss any of these in more detail and for further guidance, then please contact us.
It is also advisable for you to look at the options available on the broadband connection you are buying. For example, you can purchase faster fix times from most providers - including BT.
We also recommend that you read through our full reboot guide and that a copy of this is printed out and put up somewhere so that everyone can access it if required.
